Who we are
RAAM Consulting & Solutions is a business and IT consultancy in Toronto, Ontario. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this site. Questions about this policy, or requests about your information, go to solutions@raamsolutions.ca.
What we collect
- The contact form. Your name, organization, email address, role and message, plus the topic you choose. These are the only details we ask you to type in.
- The scoping tool and readiness assessment. Your answers stay in your own browser for the current visit. They reach us only if you then send the contact form, in which case a short summary of them travels with your message.
- Visit statistics. We count page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't follow you across other websites.
- Basic server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records technical details such as IP addresses to keep the site running and secure.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, to understand what you need before we talk, and to keep a record of our conversation with you. If you introduce yourself as a consultant, we keep your details so we can contact you when suitable work comes up. We use your information for nothing else.
Who else handles it
- Netlify, which hosts this site and receives contact form submissions. Its servers may be located outside Canada, including in the United States.
- Google Workspace, which runs our email. Enquiries arrive in our inbox there.
- Cloudflare, which runs our domain's DNS and provides the visit statistics described above.
- Google Calendar, if you book a call through our booking page. Google receives the name and email you enter there.
- Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces this site uses and so receives your IP address when a page loads.
Where information is stored outside Canada, it may be accessible to authorities in that country under its laws.
The briefing note you see after sending the contact form is generated in your own browser. Your message is not sent to an AI service. If that changes, we will update this page before it does.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact with you, then delete them. Consultant introductions are kept for the same period unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email solutions@raamsolutions.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change how this site handles personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
