About
Our story
RAAM Consulting & Solutions was formed in Toronto to give organizations one accountable partner for the whole of a technology problem: working out what the business needs, designing and building it, and supporting it afterwards.
It was founded by someone who came up inside hospital systems, where a careless change is a clinical risk. That teaches habits that stick: test everything, write it down as you go, never treat a demo as a tested system, and never let a go-live date matter more than a rollback plan.
We bring those habits to every project. And because RAAM is small, the person who scopes your project is the same person in the room at go-live.
Who you will work with
Roberto has spent thirteen years in hospital systems across Ontario: eight inside hospital IT, then five as an independent consultant. Ten of those years have been in Epic, mostly building clinical applications and supporting go-lives, in organizations of up to 4,000 users.
His deepest experience is in Beacon, Epic's oncology application, and he has led consultant teams on Beacon, Research and Orders projects. When you work with RAAM, he's the person who scopes the work and the person in the room at go-live.

Choosing a firm
You're probably also talking to firms many times our size. Here's a plain comparison, because you'll work it out anyway.
Hire the large firm when
Hire us when
We've worked alongside large firms on hospital projects, and they do some things very well. What they usually can't do is keep the same senior person on your project from scoping to go-live. That's what we offer.
What we commit to
We use LEAN, Agile and structured project management because they produce better work.
We're paid to move your business forward. If a smaller project is the right answer, we'll say so.
Plain language, quick answers and no jargon. Consulting is a relationship business, and we treat it that way.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
When a project needs more people, we bring together analysts and consultants from a range of backgrounds, including people whose route into technology wasn't the usual one.
Organizations aren't uniform, and teams that understand the people they serve build better systems. We choose people on their skills and experience, using a fair and consistent process.
